Celebrating 20 Years in Turtle Lake

This September, Physical Therapy & Rehab Specialists (PTRS) is marking a very special milestone—20 years of serving the Turtle Lake community! We invite all friends, patients, and neighbors to join us for a celebration on Friday, September 12th, from 1–4 p.m. at our Turtle Lake office at 100 Becker Street.
We’ll have delicious refreshments, including coffee and lemonade from The Coffee Barn in Turtle Lake, and pies from Misty Valley Bakery outside of Prairie Farm. We’ll also have ice cream! Everyone who stops by will also receive a special giveaway.
Early in her career as a physical therapist, Emily Monson had a clear vision. She wanted to work in private practice and eventually start her own business. In 2005, that dream became a reality when she opened the very first PTRS office right here in Turtle Lake.
For Emily, a Clayton native, opening her first clinic close to her hometown was deeply meaningful. It meant she could stay connected to family, serve her friends and neighbors, and give back to the area that helped shape her.
From that single location, PTRS has grown to include three more offices in Clear Lake, Amery, and Prairie Farm. While we’re proud of our growth, Turtle Lake will always hold a special place in our hearts because it’s where it all began.
From day one, our goal at PTRS has been to restore human performance with exceptional care. Our physical therapists and support staff excel at treating patients with compassion while using the most current, research-based treatment regimens to help them recover more quickly and effectively.
Our mission is simple yet powerful:
Here at Physical Therapy & Rehab Specialists, we are committed to supporting and guiding you during the entire rehabilitation journey. We strive to provide quality care, develop solution-based patient connections, and create a positive environment to heal. The needs of our patients come first, and we coordinate care between patient, family, and provider to achieve the best outcome.
Our vision reflects our roots:
We aim to create opportunities for rehabilitation and wellness, providing the kind of high-quality care you might expect from a larger community, right here in our rural setting. We foster a personalized, family-like environment, centered around our patients, with knowledgeable, highly trained staff dedicated to our vision.
Reaching 20 years in business is about more than numbers. It’s about the people we’ve been privileged to help, the relationships we’ve built, and the trust the community has placed in us. This anniversary is a chance to say “thank you” to Turtle Lake for supporting PTRS from the very beginning.
We hope you’ll stop by on September 12th for an afternoon of pie, ice cream, coffee, and conversation. Whether you’ve been a patient, referred a friend, or just want to meet the team, we’d love to see you and celebrate this milestone together.
